La Casa degli Amori sits in the middle of an area once known as ”the garden of Treia", now open farm land. The former farmhouse, built in 1850, has far reaching 360 degree views including the  Sibillini mountains, the nearby hills above San Lorenzo and the town  of Treia. It was restored in 2004. Now the home of Sandy and Laurence Love its restoration was literally "a labour of love". There is an independent staircase leading to the second floor accommodation. Once home to 25 members of one family, who left the house in 1975, it has been converted into four bedrooms each with en-suite facilities and two tastefully furnished connecting sitting rooms.

THE BEDROOMS

The south facing antique pine room has views towards Abruzzo and  the Sibillini Mountains. The adjacent sitting room leads into the  second bedroom with its Edwardian mahogany bedroom suite and double sofa. This room has views over the fruit orchard, vegetable garden and the town of Treia.

The third bedroom on this floor has a super-king four poster bed, a whirl pool bath. Views are of the garden and swimming pool.

On the ground floor the Garden bedroom has a king sized bed and leads directly into the garden through glazed double doors. This bedroom has an adjoining wet room. This bedroom is an ideal option where stairs are a problem or if you prefer to be close to the garden.

The well appointed bath and shower rooms are tiled in natural travertine and ceramic tiles. A basket with essential toiletries and a hairdryer are provided in each room.

SWIMMING POOL

Tucked away in the corner of the garden is a beautiful iridescent mosaic swimming pool which sparkles in the sunlight or, if you prefer, a  swim beneath the stars! (11 x 6 x 1.5 metres)

BREAKFAST/MEALS.

The accommodation offered is based on bed and breakfast. The breakfasts are very special - just read the reviews on Trip Advisor! Breakfast is served either on the terrace, under the gazebo, by the pool or in the dining room.

After arriving most guests enjoy a glass (or two) of local wine or Prosecco and a light antipasti, this is an opportunity to find out about and maybe plan their time in Le Marche.

The comforts of unwinding and total relaxation which La Casa degli Amori offers means that guests are often loathe to leave the pool, house or garden.

Sandy was trained a chef/caterer and using local produce, vegetables and fruit from the garden, it is possible, by prior arrangement, to enjoy lunch or dinner at the house.
